This is my coffee today. It is beautiful. Especially since Cassandra was on the bar, and put an extra shot in it and whipped cream on top without having to ask me. Bliss.
Sadly, that bliss did not continue. When I came back to the office at 10:30, I was greeted by a barrage of emails and work. Piddle. It is now 1:00 and I just now got the chance to blog and I’m about to eat my lunch. I’m sooooo hungry!!!
Luckily I was able to sneak away for a few minutes to get a cupcake. My favorite cupcake truck was here earlier, and they don’t come to Rosslyn that often! If you live in DC, follow @curbsidecupcakes on twitter or go to their website. Their trucks are pink, which just adds to their awesomeness (and their ability to be spotted from a distance). I first encountered them on the way into Eastern Market, and even though I was planning on getting a crepe when I got there, I couldn’t resist.
I got a snickerdoodle cupcake today! Here is half of it. I kind of pounced on the first half earlier, because it smelled so good and I didn’t think to take a picture. Fail. It’s not as pretty now, but I bet it can still make you drool!!
